Agriculture Faculty

The Faculty of Agriculture was the first in the framework of Helmand University, which was established in 1387 and actually started working.

 Until now, in the departments of agriculture, horticulture, agricultural economics and promotion, young people with knowledge up to the

bachelor's level are offered to the community for farming. With the availability of staff and necessary facilities, it will start working in the  near future, God willing 

It is the first Faculty of Agriculture within the framework of Helmand University, which started operating in 1387 after the establishment of

Helmand University. had in the official framework, which later in 1389 when the third class of the Faculty of Agriculture became active and

 dynamic, but the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension is a young department of the Faculty of Agriculture, which in 1392

The activity started, and currently the Faculty of Agriculture has 456 students, 28 teachers, one administrative staff (teaching manager) and

1 service staff.

There is a need for a special mechanism for the better organization of all academic, teaching, administrative and cultural affairs related to the

 faculty, such a mechanism that can organize all of our above-mentioned affairs in a technical, standard and principled way and we To pave the

 way to reach the goal, this mechanism is a quality assurance process. This process is very well led by the academic assistant and all things are

 monitored from time to time and he has organized this process in a very good working framework.

So far, the affairs of all our committees related to the quality assurance process are progressing very well and we believe that this process will

be strengthened based on the efficiency and ability of our personnel. Go to standard format. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude and

appreciation to the President of Helmand University, the Academic Assistant, the head and members of the General Quality Assurance Committee

 of the Faculty of Agriculture, the heads of the departments and all the teachers who have worked hard in this process. He has taken our hand

and he has never spared his ability and working energy in the development and management of the University, especially the Faculty of Agriculture.

 I wish him further success in all matters of life.

 GOAL

By creating a standard scientific process, providing qualified personnel to the society and using these scientific personnel to improve the economic situation of the farmers so that the agricultural society of the country can grow and develop.

To reduce the level of unemployment at the local and country level with the growth and development of the agricultural community and to strengthen the national economy of the country, so that the power to face all the challenges before entering the globalization process will be created.

 

MISSION

To create an environment for education and scientific research within the faculty that has modern technology and all academic facilities for the good performance of daily affairs such as laboratories, newly published books, scientific articles and research possibilities.
